English:
"NON-HUMANS" by Jan Gostynski is a sculptural installation consisting
of three monumental sculptures cast in aluminum, which are part of his graduation series defended at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in 2019. In his work, the artist aims to unite seemingly opposing worlds. The hybrid forms area result of a clash between the commonly known world: organic, animal and human,
and the unrecognizable recognized and unconscious reality.
The nameless forms - characters are characterized by both fragility and
a strong need to survive. The very process of creation corresponds to life. Birthing, dying, life and death. . ."NON-HUMANS" are halfway between destruction and being reborn again. An important aspect used in the creation process is the"Dream", that is the moment when the dream world comes into contact with their world. The forms seem to balance on the verge ofdream and reality, abstraction and figuration. Achieving harmony is only possible through destruction and destruction. What is important is to maintain the right rawness and your own peculiar expression of speech.

W pracy nad rzeźbami artysta dąży do połączenia światów,
na pozór przeciwstawnych. Hybrydalne formy są wynikiem zderzenia
świata powszechnie znanego: organicznego, zwierzęcego i ludzkiego,
z rzeczywistością jednoznacznie nierozpoznawalną i nieuświadomioną. Rodzenie, umieranie, życie i śmierć...
i zniszczenie.
